Pathanjali Maharishi gives eight steps to attain REAL MEDITATION.
EIYAMAM & NIYAMAM (FIRST TWO STEPS)
This is code of conducts. This is the basic needs to achieve Real Meditation and also lead a happy and healthy life. Your thinking/world (speaking) and your actions should not affect anybody’s life.
ASANAM AND PRANAYAMA (THIRD AND FOURTH STEPS)
In order to practice very useful and simple Yoga asanas given by Sree Pathanjali Maharishi one can attain healthy body and healthy mind. After getting healthy mind and body, one can control his breathing through PRANAYAMAM.
PRATHIYAGARAM & DHARANA (FIFTH & SIX STEPS)
How to control your different mind waves-how to bring your mind in your inner heart and how to fix the same in one thing is called Prathiyagara and Dharana.
MEDITATION & SAMATHI (SEVENTH & EIGHTH STEPS )
The end of Dharana is called Meditation. Realize yourself. Samadhi means live yourself.

SARGURU O BIKSHU is the devotee of Sree Pathanjali Maharishi. He practiced Pathanjali Yoga for the past 60 years in his life. He established Sree Pathanjali Maharishi Yoga Kedram in the year 1986.
